Two eleven-year-old boys. A stick. Two broken teeth. A playground altercation brings together two sets of parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the evening progresses, tensions emerge and the gloves come off. There are tears, tantrums, name calling and violence, as the conventions of polite society break down to reveal the brutality beneath the polished middle-class exteriors of the Novaks and the Raleighs.
